From the other thread

"Hey Guys, I got that new cable from Push Pull Inc. couple days ago. David did a GREAT job reproducing it. Start to finish, less than 2 weeks. And he answers the phone when I call ! I will get started on the mounting bracket today. Jerry"

Looks like they did a good job

Sorry, but its early morning here and I might not be fully with it yet, but I assume thats to operate a different transmission?

Did Push Pull Inc. have the end fittings for the shifter end in stock or did they have to fab them?

Thanks Jerry, So it sounds like this is fantastic news for us Forward Lookers!

1. So essentially....any torqueflight can be shifted with FL pushbuttons now?
2. Would this 76 727 trans. shift lever be comparable to the shift levers on 66-71 BB 727's?
3. What exactly are you using? 76 BB (400) and 76 727?

I was hoping to find a BB and tranny from late 60's early 70 4 door C-body and change out the whole drive train all the way to the rear end to totally update my FL car.

Bob

They had those ends in stock, but may have had to fab the core end that attaches to the push button ass'y lever. Give David a call. I fab'd a bracket to mount the cable at the trans. I had David make that cable 60" long, another 6" longer would have been a bit more desirable. If you have him make you a cable give yourself plenty of length. It's a nice smooth, low resistance cable. I'm very pleased with it. Jerry
