Location: Park Hills, KY | I am looking at a set of Chrysler dog dish hub caps on evil pay. They seller says they are 9 3/4 inch. My car is a 60 Windsor. Will this fit? I have read I need 10 inch caps. |

The dog dish caps are usually referred to as 9" or 10" but, as stated, depends on how you measure them.
From my observations, the 10" caps were used on 14" wheels and the 9" caps were used on 15" wheels up to a certain year ('67?) where they were standardized. |

Location: So. Cal | I disagree with your statement that it depends on the wheel size because it really doesn't. All the A-body cars got the smaller cap, no matter what wheel size they received. In fact, many of them had 13" wheels and some had 14" wheels but all of them still had the smaller cap size. The truck's wheel sizes varied quite a bit, but the cap size remained the same. '55-'56 cars had 15" wheels, but they still had the larger cap, the same size cap that was used on the 14" wheels in '57. Also, all the cars changed over to the smaller cap in the mid-'60's, again, regardless of wheel size. Most of them were still running 14" wheels. The only unknown for me is on the Imperials, but I doubt that they even came with poverty caps as an option. |

Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | But...what if you wanted to buy an Imperial, to use as a taxi? You'd have to have poverty caps! |
