Upon closer inspection of the wiring harness on the Custom Royal, I see the wiring cooked at the roof that feeds the interior light. Yes, it can be repaired, but now I'm wondering if the entire harness should be replaced due to potential problems elsewhere in the harness. What company did you go with for those that replaced their harnesses?
TIA,
Craig

Yes, replace the entire harness. Sixty year old cloth wiring is a fire hazard. I'll bet there are numerous parts of the harness where bare wire is exposed. A fire waiting to happen.

You can likely get a harness from RI Wiring Service or Y n Z Yesterday's Parts. Not cheap, though.
