In case somebody needs this and it hasn't been posted before:

This:

http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=107

I downloaded the 1278 pg 188 Mb pdf 1955 to 1958 catalogue to supplement the 1956 hardcopy parts catalogue that I have. One of the advantages of the pdf is the fact that I can easily print the parts diagrams instead of having to scan them to take them out to the garage when figuring things out (still learning/figuring things out about this car).

Hi
Thanks much for sharing this terrific link....I now have a State-Side '59 Parts book for my Custom Sierra. I find the figuring /learning things is the fun part next to actually bringing these old crates back to life. Your '56 is a pretty little car as I've see from the pictures you've shared....my '59 is still a bucket of bolts ...

I have been using the 55-58 Parts Catalog pdf to help me figure out the tail light lenses that I just bought for my 56 Custom Royal, 1658454 (which is correct)) and 1604394 (which has a pebbly finish). The Ctrl F search function actually works. Initially I thought it didn't because it came back with nothing for the 1604394. Then I tried the 1658454 and sure enough it found it no problem. It also found 1604395, the back up light lens. You can also search on descriptive words.

This makes these pdfs way better than I thought.

The bad part is if it didn't find 1604394, it isn't in the catalog and I still don't know what the application was.
