Expert Posts: 1288 | Lads -- Anyone have info on this year's Golden Super Cruise? I know Mike has it listed in the events calendar, but I haven't found anything else about it on the web. Any ideas? Joe

Location: The Mile High City | The first one is supposed to be May 7. They (I don't know who "they" are) have their own webpage www.goldensupercruise.com , but I checked today and they only had the 2015 information posted.

Location: The Mile High City | Joe, it looks like they updated the webpage now. The link above works and gives the 2016 dates.

Expert Posts: 1288 | Mike -- Thanks. I guess they've holding off because they've just as scared of the weather as the rest of us. Joe

Expert Posts: 1207 Location: Ponder, TX | Not to hijack the Supercruise thread, but I've not been able to find a 2016 date for the Mopar show held at the mall in August. If possible, I'm going to try to schedule my annual Seattle trip around a visit to the Denver show again.

Location: The Mile High City | Hi, Gary: August 13th is the date for the Southglenn Mall show this year. Check the "2016 events calendar" thread at the top of the RMR page. It is a "sticky thread", so it will remain on top until we run out of events.

Location: The Mile High City | Hopefully, I will be in town that week too. It would be fun to go out and get a beer or two. I think you signed my book once, but you could sign it again!

Joe And they were right to be scared! Big rain storm that evening... I did not have plans to go, but I imagine the rain put a little damper on the first cruise.

Veteran Posts: 292 Location: Colorful Colorado skier on the license plate | Joe The cruise went off last night, they have restricted the hours, but were unable to enforce it being most people were well behaved. Nice to see you at Bandimere's today. Your car looked great and so did John Q's

Expert Posts: 1288 | Thanks, Ricky -- I wish I could have been up in Golden last night. I'm sure you noticed the first-aid work done over and on the side of my right eye. I don't have a bad right cross, but my wife has an even better left hook! Actually, I was coming out of the stadium after my grandson's baseball game at about 9:00 PM when I tried a dive off the curb. It was one of the few times I have encountered something harder than my head. Don't tell John, but I've always thought the '59s were better looking than the '60s and his Belvie is quite the car.
