May not be perfect but not too far from it. I bet it goes for big buck$ if it sells.

MotoExotica bought this car for ~$30k back in 2013 at Auctions America. They must've sold it to this current owner. So yes, expect reserve north of $40k?

I wouldn't 'expect' 40k for a low level Desoto with a powerflight trans.. I don't care how nice it looks.. wire wheels and all..

Oh, I'm not saying it's "worth" $40k, just voicing a prediction of what the seller is looking to get.

Nice car. Could you buy those wheels on a Firesweep HT in the day?

The question is why would you? If you were too cost conscious to go for one of the senior models, I wouldn't expect that same person purchasing expensive wire wheels.

yes you could buy the "expensive as heck" wire wheels. My father said his friend got them stolen off his 300 the first week he owned it, came out of the movie theater to find his car on blocks. He said they were popular if you could afford them and people knew they were expensive. People were into dressing up their cars just like now but they didn't have 1000 wheels to choose from. Only hubcaps which everyone had... wire wheels were popular
