Jerry, I have read your earlier posts about the gauge and because I also have a wagon, why do the suburban's have the three posts?
I might at some latter date be going with aftermarket (digital) gauges so at that time my fuel gauge will be available.
(Canadian Dodges are Plymouth's (Plodges) and the suburban's are two door models.)
Thanks, Ray.

hi Old Ray:

I dont know why some things are different on the suburban station wagons. For example, the brake pads for sedans are 10" and for wagons, 11"
The gas tank sending unit is different on wagons than sedans.
The fuel gage is different on wagons than sedans.
There may be other differences also, but I dont know what they are.
thanks for your reply.
sincerely,

Jerry, if you can confirm that the eBay gauge Chuck found is a three post (?) go for it, good price I think.

I think, the larger brake shoes on the wagon would be for better braking as the wagon is heavier.
The gas sender is different because the tank is completely different and is located in the fender well instead of the trunk floor.
I have no idea why the dash gauge should be different. In most cases one wire in from sender, one out to ground and in sometimes one or two more for gauge lighting.

hi
since you have a wagon, know any vendor with weatherstripping for tailgate and weather stripping for rear quarter panel windows? Steele Rubber Products does not have it.
thanks
