Location: 33844		Has anyone found an inexpensive generic replacement for our power window motors ?? Any DC motor with 2-3/4 body and 5/16 shaft would work me thinks !!!

Location: 33844		Bingo -- I found a close fit on eBay. I bought 1 to check it, fits great , just needed to grind the D in the shaft. Works fine !! Best part -- only $18 total !!!!! Now I'll buy 3 more.

Location: 33844		just search 12v dc motor on ebay , sold by stuff4boats. is a winch motor.

Location: 33844		No good --- our window motors are chassis-ground and the 2 terminals for reversing !!!! Not your typical DC motors !!!
