If it's all original, it looks like it's in fantastic shape. Wants $75k; not sure if that's over priced or not.

Might be high priced but try to find another one as nice at any price. May already be sold as I couldn't get the Craig's List ad to come up.

Copy and paste the link into your URL bar. Not sure why the clickable link didn't work.

IMO that is not factory applied Adventurer Gold on that car. I see no reason to believe this is not a restored car.

"Original" means so many different things to people. To project that it means "Still exactly the materials and equipment that made up the car on the day it was built" can be a grossly costly mistake by hobbyists.

If I've read Ed Petrus' website correctly, the inner fenders should be gray. So probably/maybe an older restoration. Nice car though, we don't see them often. My preferred color scheme is gold with black roof and inserts.

The working URL is: http://frederick.craigslist.org/cto/5765437499.html

Funny how even now people home in on 'dual quads' as a prominent selling/bragging point.

Not factory original tires.

Do those tires say "Mickey Thompson Bonneville" on them? I like the look of them.

Out of my price range, but I'll never understand why someone who is selling a $75k car wouldn't give it a good washing and take some better photos.

If anyone DOES contact the seller, please PM me (desoto@pathway.net). I think I've seen this car before (the tires are unusual, as noted above) and I may have it listed in my database under a different location or owner. I say this because I don't have an Adventurer listed in Frederick MD, which is apparently where this car is, or at least where it was advertised. StillOutThere is right that the gold isn't the correct shade, and Imp58Alpes is right that the inner fenders should be gray. I'd also need more evidence to believe the car is "original", but it sure looks like a nice one. A bit overpriced, though, and I hope the aircleaners come with it, as they are pretty hard to find.

Excellent, flagator10! I DO have that car in my database, with the owner being in Roanoke VA. Same car for sure. Glad you found it in that link...

Thanks for the link. The photos on that other site really show the true condition of this car.. not as pretty as the craigslist ad would lead one to think.
