I'm always fascinated by old pictures, thanks to google we can travel in time and see how the places transform. Some places changed so much over the years, that not even people traveling from the past to the present or present to the past are going to find an address easily.

At this accident scene probably in 1965 we can see how the place changed. I'm, pretty sure that most of the kids pictured there lived in the neighborhood.

At a side note I googled E.C. Robinson Lumber CO and I found that the company was in legal litigation 10 years after this picture was taken.

One thing that strikes me about the top photo in particular is the disproportionate number of Chrysler Corporation products seen on the streets, relative to the number of Ford, GM, and AMC products. This community must have had a very strong Dodge dealership in particular. Note that there are two of the big Dodge 880's!

its a belvedere, so it can't be a convertible.
