Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | I bought this 1958 Dodge, Desoto and Dodge trucks ChryCo accessories brochure (Canada) brochure recently, and I thought some of you might be interested in seeing it. There's lots of interesting items in there. Of course the accessories are canadian stuff, but they were pretty similar in the USA. Expert 5K+ Posts: 7207 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | Some interesting looking items I've never even heard of. I noticed the " Tire color strypes " The Canadian spelling for color is " colour" and I've never seen strypes spelled with a "Y" anywhere.

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | The only option that my car has in there is the Forward Look vanity mirror. It had plastic seat covers up untill 2004, though, but they were removed by the daughter of the original owner to sell the car. I'd love to get my hand on an original spare tire cover, though. And some of those seatbelts! Edited by soiouz 2010-02-17 11:28 AM

Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | What's really nice about those sun glasses is that their lower areas have little darkening to them, which allows your pupils to constrict, which, in turn, helps to provide distance vision and to block out extraneous ultraviolet contamination. Glasses which are poorly/cheaply shaded allow for the pupils to dilate excessively and to receive too much sunlight contamination, therefrom. Fairly high-tech, for/in the 50's. And, timelessly Kool looking!

Veteran Posts: 107 Location: Sydney | Love the exhaust deflectors. I guess that "Chryco" was the brand used in Canada instead of "Mopar". Thanks soiouz for sharing, that's an awesome brochure !

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | To all of you who said "thanks for sharing", I say you're welcome!! I'm just glad to share! I was happy to find this brochure and it now sits in the glove box of our car, along with the Canadian 1959 Dodge brochure and the original owner's manual. And yes "ChryCo" was the parts brand in Canada instead of MoPar.
