| I was looking through the 1960 parts catalogue & was surprised to find sway bars listed for most (if not all) of the 1960 models - I was under the impression that they weren't available? Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly? Could anyone shed some light on this? (See attached images)

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | The sway bars was standard on the Chryslers and options for most of the other MoPars in '60.
The rear axle control strut is for Imperial only. |

| Cool, good to know, thanks! Were these rear, or front? I would assume front, based on the last page torsion bar listings. Do you know how the rear control strut worked/was mounted? Just curious.

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | The sway bars at that time was a.lways in the front. The rear axle Control struts prevented axle hop - see the Picture below.

| Thanks for the pic, that's pretty interesting, never seen anything like that before! There must have been brackets welded on top of the axle housing then?
Any chance you have a pic of the front sway bar attachment points too, or just general mounting location? |

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | You're welcome! Yes, the Imperials had brackets welded to the rear axle housing.
I don't know for sure if the other MoPars had the brackets welded to the frame for to mount a sway bar, but it would be convenient for dealer mounted sway bars.
I don't have any pictures, the lower ends of the sway bars were mounted to the lower control arms and the sway bar was mounted to the frame brackets with long bolts, tubes and insulator rubber bushings.
