Elite Veteran Posts: 689 Location: Winston Salem, N.C. | hi For 56 plymouth belvedere 4 door sedan, I need to ask someone to measure the smaller insert pieces on the front seat, rear seat, and on back side of front seats, which are sewn to the aztec pattern, and send them to me. My upholsterer says they cannot cut and sew the fabric correctly without the measurements. Any questions give me an email or call me at 336-749-5922. thank you jerry whitfield winston salem N.Carolina (=1956plymouthfrontseat.jpg) Attachments ---------------- =1956plymouthfrontseat.jpg (21KB - 175 downloads)

Elite Veteran Posts: 689 Location: Winston Salem, N.C. | hi thanks for the courteous reply. How can I estimate the width of the insert at the top of the insert and the width of the insert at the bottom? Do you know the height of each of the pleats in the inserts? If so, I could count the number of pleats to get a guess of height. sincerely Jerry Whitfield winston salem NC

Elite Veteran Posts: 769 Location: Oley, PA | I hope someone will provide an actual measurement, as that would be the best way. In the meantime, this photo has slightly better contrast. From what I can see, the gray insert is: 7 Aztec blocks wide at the top 8.5 Aztec blocks wide at the bottom (The diagonal seems to cross one and a half columns of blocks) 10.5 pleats tall Not sure if that is helpful, but I'd think it would get you close enough. Very cool fabric pattern by the way! Nice job guys, that was great. And the full bottom seat width is 11 Aztec blocks. That can give you a measurement value if you don't have the fabric on hand to measure how big an Aztec block is.

Elite Veteran Posts: 689 Location: Winston Salem, N.C. | hi thank you for the good pictures. I do not have any Aztec fabric. I am using different fabric but want the inserts to be the proper size, on both sides of the front seat. Who can tell the size of an Aztec block and the width of the pleated panels? The insert is narrower at the top than at the bottom and I need to figure out that measurement. Then I will need to know the proper measurements for the insert on the back of the front seat. thank you Jerry Whitfield Winston salem NC
