This is a very nice 1957 dodge 600 jerr-dann rollback tilt with a flatbed aluminum deck bed, duel wench with stinger. The motor has been rebuilt, however the odometer reflects just over a 100,000 miles. The motor was put in 1981 but was rebuilt with headers and a ellerbrook carb, automatic transmission, power steering, new tires. 50 gal fuel tanks on both sides with large tool boxs boths sides as well. This truck has not been worked hard at all. It has been used to haul classic cars from time to time. But most of the time this truck has been sitting in a garage out of the weather. I bought this truck at an estate sale, I knew the man who owned it. It has been well taken car of.

Sigh...that's a lot of money for a dirty truck they let sit outside in the weather.

And if the engine (which no one can tell what engine it is...) was rebuilt in 1981 that really doesn't count as a rebuilt engine any longer.

Cool truck with a nice tow body, but . . . .

What's up with the RF fender lying in the bed, and no pic/explanation? You can sort of see it's missing in one pic, but it's so dark you can't see if there's other damage.

Why do people take photos to post at night?

And why, on a big build, with a big price, does no one think to loom up the wires running hither and nigh all over the engine?

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy . . . .

Back in 2002 at Chryslers at Carlisle when I bought one of my 58 Furys it was brought to the show on the back of a 57 Dodge Blue Rollback ,The seller was from North Carolina and I think his name was Al Crutchfield I wonder if this is the same Truck ? I think it was on a Ford Chassis.

This will have a new home soon :D. No, I didn't pay 32, much less. My brother went to inspect it today while I was at Thomas and Mack.

That would be a great truck for you. My only wish for it would be a cummins diesel motor.

Pretty sure we know who did this conversion. I'm fine with it not being a diesel. As I setup the new place, this will be incredibly handy moving cars. I honestly think we'll use this a lot. If we can get it properly road worthy, we'll bring it to Carlisle possibly. It's a straight axle, so ride quality.........

Leave some vehicles for the rest of us!
I'd love to see this roll into Carlisle with a letter car on the back!
Although i'm sure that trip wouldn't be much fun.

Is there room in the museum for it?
