Maybe. But only if you have no idea of history or other areas outside the USA, like say, for example, France.
There is a village called Belvedere in the southeastern corner of France, not too far from Nice, and close to the Italian border (now), that has been around since the 1300's.
"Belvedere is the ideal term for a building (or part of a building) with a view; it derives from two Italian words, bel, which means "beautiful," and vedere, which means "view." The term has been used in English since the 1570s."
I think they nailed it (the name) for this village:

Belvedere, Savoy and Plaza are all hotels.
Of course they are. But their Hotel names were not the first use of the name ever.
For example, Savoy comes from The Duchy of Savoy, in France, which was created in 1416.
As for the Savoy hotel, the one I know is in London and it is at least 5 stars. I had a drink there after a play. Not cheap.
Plaza is from the Spanish plaza (“town-square or central place of gathering”), from Latin platea. Nice but nothing special, just like the cars. On the other hand, the Plaza hotel in New York city is very nice and the
association of the car with the hotel, boosts the car's image but probably diminishes the Hotels.
