Morning Everyone,

The heater control valve is leaking like a sieve on my '60 DeSoto Adventurer. To removal and replace it, I need to remove the glove box. The box itself is pristine, so I'm trying to not mess it while removing it. There's not enough room to shift it to the left (as you view it) to allow me to see the valve to work on it.

Any helpful hints for removing the box without destroying it?

Thanks a million in advance.

You need to remove the lid and all the screws first - Look in the glovebox for the creases. You must fold it slightly and pull it out towards You.

No need to remove the glove box. It is a bit tricky but you just gotta find a way to turn it the right way in the right position Takes a while and it is impossible to give instructions.

And the chances are the 60-year-old paper will crumble when folded.
