I am looking for a power brake pedal setup for a '55 Plymouth or Dodge with manual transmission. I need the booster, master, & vacuum can as well if you have them.

Nathan: I was following your other thread and was going to comment last night but it was late (midnight) and I had to hit the sack.

Based on my investigations of the 1955 Mopar Power brake systems, there wasn't a brake pedal bracket for PB and Manual trans, just PB or no PB. At least according to the parts book.

Compare the above PB bracket info to the 1955 Chrysler manual brake bracket diagram (the same, with unused holes) (see below):

Dave, you are looking in the wrong section. That's why you don't see it. If you look at the diagram, it tells you to look at section 6-46-1 for the manual transmission versions. They list them in the clutch section, where they belong. I am looking for 1559745, which is the same as is used on the automatic cars. So since I already have a clutch pedal assembly, it looks like all I need are the '55 booster & stuff to add to it. That "bracket" is used for both power & manual brakes, and both automatic & standard transmissions. Is that how you interpret this as well? They also made a power brake setup for manual transmissions in 1957 as well, but it looks like they dropped it for 1958-up.

.
Nathan: LOL. 1559 745 is the same bracket that I am trying to point you to. I just added an image to my previous post, showing a 1955 Chrysler manual brake pedal bracket. It is the same as the 55 Chrysler (and all 55 Mopars) PB bracket. Same bracket just not all the holes are used with the manual brakes.

Side by Side Comparison:

Yes, so I can get a '55 power brake pedal setup and transfer my clutch pedal assembly over to it. So that's what I need. I don't necessarily need the large bracket itself, because I already have that, but I need all the power connections & brackets so getting the whole thing is the way to go.
