I don't have any good pictures but if you could post pictures of what you have, I might be able to walk you thru what goes where.
I do have one picture that shows the rods, but that's it.
I tried to attach the one picture I have but it is too large to load.

I found an old drawing/rough sketch that I did years ago when I was disassembling my tailgate.
If you still need something to help your reassembly, let us know and I'll copy and post my rough drawing.
