Location: christchurch New Zealand		need both front strut rods LF/RF these are the sway bar type with the extended flats for the clamps. P/number and casting number which is stamped/cast on flat near where it bolts to the lower arm are #1671418 & 1671419 . shipping would be to Orange . Ca 82967. thanks Geoff

Geoff: You don't mention which car but those 1671418 & 1671419 part numbers seem to work across the board in 1957-58 (but maybe not for the biggest Imperials). There doesn't seem to be sway bar/non-sway bar options, i.e. all the cars got front sway bars (but possibly different diameters). Probably PNs 1671438 and 1672965 from parts section 17-29-5 (as flagged on the diagram) (see below)

I though John F. at Big M in California recently said that he has good used sets of these strut bars. Probably has both sizes of sway bar too.

Strut rods are for my 57 Dodge CR D500, pervious owner had chopped the steering stops off the end, for what reason i dont know, so i want to put correct ones back on. The bars are the biggest diameter ones i have seen on a FL car .975" compared to most that are.770", the different dia probably doesnt make a whole lot of difference ? SWB bars are shorter by about 3 odd inches and the angle of the rod where it connects to lower arm is different when compared to LWB.57-59.
