Location: Denver, Colorado, USA | I'm on the hunt for the following parts, pictured below: -Pair of 1956 Dodge car painted extended headlight bezels with stainless rim trim, often found on Custom Royals. -Pair of 1956 Dodge Custom Royal diagonal quarter-panel trim. -Pair of 1956 Dodge Custom Royal fin caps. Please message me if you any of the parts. I know there is a pair of headlight bezels on eBay but need the stainless rim trim for them. Thanks!

The Custom Royal bezels (called "headlight doors" in the parts book) are relatively easy to find. *HOWEVER*, the "stainless" rim trim is not stainless, it is cast pot metal. It is difficult to find and if you don't find good ones, the pitting can only be fixed by a good plater who will have to first fill the pits in with a solder or (??), then plate. Not cheap.
I have been there/done that.
Contact Don P. (Wildone770) to see what he has.

Location: So. Cal | It's weird that they would make that trim ring as a separate part since the entire headlight door is made of pot metal too. I guess they didn't want to chrome just part of it, or mask off the front section to paint it. |
