Location: New Castle PA		Got a phone call from a friend who ordered new Monroe front shocks for his '57 DeSoto but received front shocks for a '55/'56. He said they can't be used or returned. They are new and he'd like to get $50 for them. Please call him directly, as that's all I know. Alan (in Ohio) 330-716-2015.

If you buy them, please let me know, though, so I won't keep trying to help him sell them!

Location: New Castle PA		Hmmm. He gave me the numbers, but said he thought they were Monroe but it doesn't say that on the box. Number is 738018. When I check that with a search, I find a gas-charged shock sold by Carquest. All I can tell you is if you'r'e interested, call the guy and double-check things. I have no idea what a '55 or '56 DeSoto shock should look like.
