New two tone paint pale yellow with white top and coves. Aero square steering wheel pushbutton auto. Same owner since 2007 I am thinning collection and don't have time to finish this off. Getting ready for retirement. Currently has clear Illinois title, never reg in CA due to storage and work done to engine etc. Runs great. Trim for roof is in the back. Six passenger model not the Suburban 9 pass. Solid floors etc these are prone to major rust this one is not a rust bucket. 11,000 or best offer Call Brent on my cell”

Elite Veteran Posts: 915 Location: Pau, S-W France | I was interesting in the car but with my friend ImperialAlpes ... (don't remember the pseudo ...) we list all we have listed all the faults of the car and ther's a lot ! At 11 k maybe but not à 20 k .... Just add the restoration of the aerowheel, the missing molding around the tailgate glass, the problem with the TQF (D button is pushed on, the cover plate is on the floor), the lot of dust on the windshield, the decomposed wipers, the pebble under the rear wheel, the "DLR" plate, look that this car hasn't moved since some months or years.

Veteran Posts: 281 Location: WA/USA | I love the upside-down emblems on the fins, and the raw steel steering wheel rim, but my favorite is the short stem rear-view mirror on the dash: I can say with confidence that you cannot see over the tailgate with that mirror! I'd say it was a good buy if the flipper picked it up for $11k or less.

I'd say it was a good buy if the flipper picked it up for $11k or less. Mine is the obvious rear panel repair, carelessly painted over. If it is so obvious in fotos, it is the horror in person. The placement of the rear emblems would be enough reason for me to let it pass. Not that it is difficult to fix, no, but it is a clear sign that that car was owned by an idiot and nobody wants a car that was "restored" or modified by an idiot.

Note also that the car is always for sale after a week ! if it was a bargain it would have been sold long ago. But I have to admit that the color scheme and model is still a nice example of the FwdLk.
