I recently came across the original bill of sale for the 1955 Dodge Regent that my dad bought in March of 1956 with 16 K odd miles and thought that I would share here.

The first one is me and my Dad in March 1956 shortly after he purchased a one year old 55 Canadian Dodge Regent (251 flat head, 3 on the tree). I was 4.9 years old (birthday in early May). The second one is probably April 1960 just before my younger sister was born (I'm out there in a red sweater and blue jeans behind my older sister on the train trestleand would be 8.9 years old). That car became mine in the fall of 1966 and I started driving it legally shortly after my 16th birthday in 1967.

Starting with the newly discovered bill of sale, signed by my dad (who passed in January of 2009 at 87) and Charlie DePape, the lot owner.
