Can anyone tell me if the crank from my early 413 that suits the cast iron Torqueflite will go into a later 440 block??
Pistons for the 413 unfortunately aren't readily available and I already have some for a 440.
Just weighing up the options.

a 413 crank should be forged and go right in a 440... or bore the 413 out..

Thanks mikes2nd, I guess I should have searched and found that!!
I've also read in a few places that there's actually not enough material in the 413 block to bore it to 440 so a new block is needed if I go that way.

the one guy did it and tested it but unknown which 413 he used... he tested... but 440's are so cheap and plentiful you probably can just grab one.
