Location: D-70199 Heslach		Last week the classic gala https://concours-delegance.de/en took place at the garden of castle Schwetzingen, Germany.
The classic gala schwetzingen has about the same importance here in europe as pebble beach, CA does for you. https://pebblebeachconcours.net/
Unfortunately, US vehicles receive little attention in this country and lead a shadowy existence away from the event. Unless you have a pre-war vehicle, then you are in the big leagues.
Further proof of the shadowy existence is that not a single photo can be found on the official Classic Gale pages or on FB.

No matter, we was able to win two trophies with the 1957 Desoto Fireflite Shopper.

2nd "Class U - Best Original ASC-Trophy"
2nd "Best of Show USCCC" (USCCC = US Classic Car Concour)

But the event is still good and worthwhile, not least for making contacts. For example, I wanted to talk to the owner of a 57 Facel Vega FV2 Coupé - as we know, many FVs also have a desoto engine installed. But unfortunately he didn't show up at the gala, probably the hemi didn't run :-)
It's also great that an Italian editor found my car on the show and wants to write an article about the station wagon.

Location: So. Cal		A good friend of mine is a judge at Pebble Beach. It's not that US cars aren't allowed there, it's more reserved for sports cars & very high $$ cars. Basically a playground for the super wealthy. Congratulations on the awards. Your car definitely is very well restored and well deserving.
