I went to the Langley BC Canada Good Time Cruise-in yesterday around 11 AM. Parked in the Legion lot ($10) like I did in 2019. Supposedly in the neighbourhood of 1800 registered cars. NOT ONE FORWARD LOOK (1955-61 Mopar) car.

Lots of late 60's and 70's Mopars but nothing older than about 1967.

Took me about 2.5 hours to walk the length of the show (one side and then the other), not lingering very often at any one car. Lots of 65 GTOs and 37 Fords, two of my other cars that I would have (given more money, time, space and a forgiving wife )

Went out on the new No. 1 from New West to 264 (Hwy 13) in my 56 Dodge. Car ran well and the speedo seemed much closer to reality (with the new 20 tooth speed gear that I installed) while doing an indicated 60 - 65 mph. (Went through some speed displays on the way home on Fraser Hwy (to 200th) and 42-45 mph showed up as about 67 kph (which is about 41.5 mph so much much closer). The car is much happier driving 50 - 55 mph (than 60- 65 mph).

Yeah I was a little disappointed to not see a single one. We went, but our Chrysler stayed home as the brake lights decided to start playing up. We did make the parking lot cruise the night before though!

Turns out that I lied.

There was one Forward Look car hiding in a side parking lot of a Deli/Pub, just off the main drag. A black and white (roof) 56 Plymouth 4dr sedan.

I only found it while watching a video taken of the show from a drone.

That's a huge show. I don't think I have ever been to a show that big.
