I have been in contact with Black Car about some body panels for my Plynouth
they have responded and have the parts that I need, has anyone done buisness with them in the past? ?
If so were the parts to your likeing? ?
did they fit properly ?
Why did you choose to deal with them rather than others ?

Thank you for your input.

I found those guys on the internet for panels for my 57 Plymouth. I bought 2 panels from them that could not even be used because they were off. I did manage to use some of the 2 panels. I understand they do not make the panels, they just buy them. For instance, I got a rocker from them that was placed in the break crooked. Another instance was after I welded a qtr on from them, I looked at the other side and the style line stopped about 4 inches short of the original side. I'll be glad when someone starts making some sheet metal for FL cars.

my experience with their parts for my 56 Plymouth was very good. Parts were sent promptly, fit well and look good on the car.

I have now bought 4 panels from Blackcar. Some good some bad. Kinda like eating seafood. That is the only patch panel supplier I know of for FL cars. I guess if anyone else knows of some others..they aint sayin. I used Bob McGee for my floors and trunks and they fit with some tweaking.

JW,

I have used them a couple of times, great folks. Good parts, well wrapped for shipping.
