| Im trying to help my father restore his 1958 plymouth belvedere and i want the original colors on the car but i cant seem to find the body tag info where it should be according to plymouth central . com. i found a metal strip with the numbers "E0619L-2018" on the engine side of the firewall on the drivers side and im not even sure if thats what im looking for....if anyone can help please reply to this thread or email me at juliem6834@yahoo.com |

Location: Sept. 1958 | OK, the E stands for Evansville, the place of build. 0619 is the date of build, June 19. I'm not sure what the L stands for, it's on both of mine. The 2018 is the number of the body, nothing to do with the VIN. Only way to tell what the original color was, is to get it from Chrysler Historical, or if there's a handwritten build sheet under the rear seat. Evansville cars didn't have a paint/trim plate. |

Location: Sept. 1958 | You could also find out what the original color is by looking at the firewall or underneath the master cylinder firewall plate. You got any pics of the car to post on here? |

| No pictures yet but it doesn't look so bad the paint looks like its been purposely blasted off so im going to look into it. Its not in the worst condition but its not great ether so im not sure how much information about the original im going to be able to get. ill post pictures up here as soon as i get them. Thanks |
