Neil d500, I think you will really like this page from the 1957 book: three-tone colour combinations!

Well, it seems a lot of Dodge-Desoto and Chrysler-Plymouth former dealerships in Quebec used to keep everything for many years... this is from an old Dodge-Desoto dealership that closed down in the 1970's and that was emptied only last year. The second floor of the former garage was stacked full of NOS parts (they dumped those, believe it or not!!! ) , but the books were preseved.. This is the second former dealership I found still full of stuff in the last two years.

I bought only a small pile, among which, these three were the best, but I left behind parts catalogues, Shop Manuals and data books from the 1930's to the 1970's!

Very nice stuff. I managed to find a 1960 Chrysler Dealer Accessories book last spring on Ebay. I'd really like a 1960 Ross Roy data book but they seem to go for big bucks when they're available.

Do the Ross Roy books detail out which models were made on which days with the Plymouth dash and Dodge knobs,
or the Chrysler knobs on the Dodge dash, or the Dodge dash with the Plymouth knobs, and which ones got what door
panels with each ?

And what about Canadian cars built for the Mexico sales market ?

He didn't have the other FL years data books, or I would have bought them too. But he had a very nice Valiant data book from 1960, including the upholstery samples and colour chips, etc.

I knew you'd get a kick out of the three-tone paint combinations, Neil.

I don't really know what they are worth, they don't come up for sale often. I paid quite less than 150$ for the three of them, anyway.

Market value; supply and demand and intrinsic rarity and condition.

It's all there, in those complete books that you scored.

It seems you were right on the value of these, Neil. I was offered 200$ for the 1958 book alone recently!

I want to keep those books, though, and had to turn it down. Still, I think it's pretty crazy!
