The 1955 Dodges have 15" wheels.

I wonder if those are not aftermarket wheel covers, or, whether the 14" 1961 Dodge wheel covers have been modified/adapted
to fit to the 15" wheels?




Not sure, but it does look like it still has the 15 inch wheels on it. I'm pretty sure you could get custom covers very similar to '61 Dodge, probably through Whitney or Western Auto. Perhaps that's what they are.

place to live in back then ..... no background checks no

WE COULD SMOKE EVERYWHERE except for church and a

hospital room and nurses (florence nightengale) white

uniform and cap - could smoke at the nurses station and

people could smoke in the hospital lobby/cafeteria.

no cori checks pertinent info young strong you got a job

thats it. everyone working had some sort of logo or uniform

and was proud to wear it. cabbies service station attendants.

connection.

How is this in line with doing the right thing and better times ? Just because Madison Avenue
sold the U.S. an image making smoking seem like a good thing, it is iconic and a factual good
thing ?

If the opium industry were so well organized in 1910, you'd be waxing nostalgic about heroin.

But (except for the creased quarter panel), that's exactly how he was built and looked, in '61.

Plain glass, front fender antenna, standard wheel covers; may also have the 'same' all-black
steering wheel, too.

It's clearly the late '50s photo.. that fresh looking Volvo buckel is PV 444, not 544 (note small taillights) and Duett has a split windshield.
