I contacted the seller - it has been sold, something just north of $4,000. No title, tho' seller said he was working on it.

Eh, with no engine and unknown rust condition, I'd say 4k is fair for what you're getting. I suppose if you have a drivetrain already, you could build a nice survivor driver for less than 15k. Hard to go wrong there.

$1,000 was the starting price and he was taking offers. The grandson selling it told me the grandfather, who had lost the title, rebuilt the engine and then had sold it this year for $4,000. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of his statement to me.

titles arent hard to get... those 300C hoods are expensive I had someone offer 3k for mine. Insurance companies look for them when they fly up..
