There is no site on the web that can help with Canadian pre-1966 tags, by the way. First, the serial number : LP2W**9968 L - 1958 model year P - Plymouth 2 - V8 (313) W - Windsor assembly plant **9968 - 8,968th LP2 built at W The ** are fillers. the car after **9999 would be *10000 and after *99999 would be 100000. The body tag :model 1(?)-2-H2 Body# 1035 Paint AAA Trim code DXE Model No. = 1(?)-2-H2 Should be LP-2-H23 L - 1958 P - Plymouth 2 - V8 (313) H - Belvedere 2 - 2-door 3 - hardtop Body# 1035 1,035th LP-2-H23 built Paint AAA A - roof colour - black A - body colour - black A - insert colour - black Trim code DXE Interior trim code. Do not know enough about 1958 codes, yet, but the sun visors and headlining were grey while the instrument pad and weathercord were black.

Expert Posts: 3967 Location: DFW, TX | The holes in the panels suggest this car used to have the Sportone. I bet it was a stunning car when new! Good save, you don't see them often anymore.

How were the 58 Plymouth's interiors outfitted, in comparison to their U.S. counterparts? Hank, can you post up any pics of whatever interior style/colors might still exist in your car?
