Elite Veteran Posts: 1172 Location: Georgia | It's time to let one of my wagons go. This was bought from a field in rural Missouri and brought to my place in Georgia and has sat in my carport for 4 years. Time to go! I've got her listed on eBay right now, no reserve! Item 322393844484 She's a 1960 Plymouth Deluxe Suburban 2-door wagon, 318 V8, 3-speed manual, original two-tone white over gold, radio and heater. She has not run in a very long time. Solid body, some rust in lower extremes, but not bad for these cars. Floors are gone. See the auction for detailed photos. Really neat car. Let me know if anyone here on the board has any questions or interest. Thanks! Elite Veteran Posts: 1172 Location: Georgia | Good eye, Nathan! Yes those are '56 Dodge hubcaps. As far as I know, there were two type of 'dog-dish' hubcaps available for the '56 Dodges. The ones on this wagon require the wheel rims with the clips, found on pre'57 Mopars into the 1940s. The other type has a similar style, yet they require the rims with the 'nubs' on the center, which is found on Mopars from '57 on up. I've got the second type on my green '61. The first type was used on some police and fleet Mopars (including Plymouths) that featured 15-inch wheels up through 1962. Elite Veteran Posts: 1172 Location: Georgia | Thanks Robert. She's gotten alot of exposure! A gentleman from Florida came up last night "to look" and had to have her. I hated to pull the auction, but a deal was made and I think she'll be going to a good home. His plans are to go all original with her. Pete | ||
