Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia | Apparently a very special order, this 4-speed box was used in the Facel Vega, was a rare option in the 300 of 1960. Made in France by Pont a Mousson, used also in trucks and some other large French cars from the forties or early fifties.

Location: Ponder, TX | I believe the total number put into Chrysler 300's was 7. I've seen only one in real life, and the car belonged to a guy in Oregon. |

And this one belongs to you? If so, where did you ever find it? |

Location: Meggett, SC | Cool... back in the '70s my uncle acquired a Facel Vega on a mechanic's lein... unfortunately, it was vandalized while it was at his shop, and ended up scrapping it... wish he'd held onto the tranny for my New Yorker

There must be plenty around in the backblocks of France, one would think, and in places like Morocco and Algeria where French trucks abound. Just need to find a bellhousing (an adaptor, really...).
Though the ratios could well be different... but who'd care? |

Location: Pau, S-W France | These Pont-A-Mousson gearboxes were only used in the "big" Facel Vega as HK2 or Excellence. I have some discusions with FV members and it seems that the french FV club had bought the remaining stock of PAM parts 10 or 15 years ago. Note that Pont A Mousson is the name of a french town . |
