This may be a still from the old "Superman" TV series as that looks like Clark Kent (George Reeves) in the horn-rim glasses. Station wagons of this vintage are not often seen these days.

I notice that the state on the license plate has been redacted in the Superman still.

It sure looks like a California plate to me.

Definitely do not see many wagons from that era. I can't remember the last time
I saw a 50's era MoPar station wagon in the wild. Only place I see them is Carlisle.

Location: Imperial,CA		Sort of hard to tell in the Strater photo but it looks like Dusk Mauve or Powdered Bronze. I don't think I've seen a '60 in those colors either. The paint on my '59 Imp is Cameo Tan, which is similar to Powdered Bronze.

It's too bad that we don't know what happened with this poor Imperial. It couldn't have been good for it to be transferred to its selling dealer by truck all the way from Detroit (or other factory town) with its windows wide open. It looks like rain to me. Detroit was criticized for indifferent fit and finish in those days (and quite rightly too IMHO) but even the factory workers knew enough to roll the windows up when the cars were being transported by trucks.

In "Riviera1968," the car in the lower right, partially out of frame, appears to be a 62(?) Valiant.

It is also one of the cars older than 4 in that shot.
