That 61 PLY was probably being stored inside, due to an insurance investigation on its occurrence; otherwise, its storage. there, would be a real waste of space.

Expert Posts: 1819 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Vancouver, BC | That is also not a 1957 Chrysler of Canada colour. The photo of the Dodge is not all that great, but you can tell it does have a shine (you can see the reflection of a car in the passenger side of the car). Why not a complete repaint? The newest car is the 1963 or 1964 Chrysler 300 on the right side of the picture so the car is at least six years old. The car may have been owned by someone who liked the car and, wanting to keep it, gave it a new paint job. Or, it hit a used car dealer and the dealer gave it a paint job to move it off the lot. Back in those days the number one piece of advise given to a buyer looking for a used car was to check for a repaint. Can still remember walking into a showroom of used cars and the smell of fresh paint. My 1972 Dodge Dart got a complete repaint in July 1973 when I had three accidents (one was my fault) in June. The only undamaged panels were the left front fender, driver's door and trunk lid. The Dart came from the factory in Sherwood Green Metallic. They repainted the whole car in 1973 Dark Green Metallic. No complaints from me - the whole car was done in one colour and I preferred the Dark Green over the Sherwood Green.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Parts Unknown | How as it that Ford could pull off such a clean, almost Forward Look like look with their 1960 cars, and kitsch the berjeebers out of everything else they touched through the fin years ??? While kind of cheap in appearance when looked at up close, the basic design was superbly integrated and clean, with a high degree of interesting lines and details that all worked well together. ![]()
