yes.
that first national bank above was in petoskey michigan. a mid century design, not one of the best but it has been replaced by a disturbing depressing typical 80s building that could be in europe, asia or anywhere on this planet. just like the cars, america has lost its face.

Is that crash scene staged? The cars involved seem too clean, even their whitewalls. There are no police vehicles present, yet there's a wrecker
already in the other lane. Also, there's no fluid leakage or scattered debris. Just say'in.

There appears to be a skid mark there, and some kind of hose over the road, two police motorcycles, the police car could well be out of frame to the right but the officer is in frame.

What had me wondering was how the Oldsmobile (the car in the foreground, it is an Olds, isn't it?) got there without being entangled.

The damage to the cars seems pretty real.

Two separate accidents on Jan. 13, 1962 involving 7 crashed cars.
The first caused by a stalled car, the second caused 40 min later by rubberneckers.
The Oldsmobile in the foreground belonged to the photographer taking pictures of the first accident.
