Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia		I was waiting for start time for a job and breakfasting at a roadhouse the other week, the television was on and an old episode of Skippy was on.

Well, all episodes of Skippy are old (and corny) and in this one from 1968 a pair of baddies were trying to dupe an elderly couple of their life's savings. They arrived in a Plymouth convertible (1959?) which was a model never sold here, and with the little kangaroo's intervention in their game they had to try and outrun a helicopter at one stage...

I think a lot of 56 Dodge taxis just had "Dodge" badging on the side. Not sure if they were all low trim level Coronets like this one in the 56 Dodge taxi brochure or not.

I still watch it on a regular basis. There are dozens of episodes on YouTube that you can watch for free. I have watched quite a few of them and they used mostly Buicks. Check them out....

It looks like '57 DeSoto.
Look at the ornament on th C-Pillar on this yellow car...
The side mouldings are placed lower behind than '58 and '59 models as well...

Location: So. Cal		Manual windows. You can see the stub for the crank in this picture, and there isn't a cutout for a power window switch. Also, I don't think the window crank is broken. It's probably just the crap pixelation of the picture that you are looking at, combined with a dark reflection off the chrome that makes the handle disappear. You can also see the shadow of the handle knob on the door panel.
