Someone air-sick perhaps? JFK http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksi...Thanks for the info. The only ambulance that I remember seeing on TV during the Kennedy assassination was the 1963 Pontiac that picked his body up when Air Force One landed at Andrews AFB. There would have had to be an ambulance to carry JFK's body to the plane at Love Field of course. Speaking of ambulances, when have you ever seen a 1958 Buick ambulance? This organization had TWO of them (and a 1957 DeSoto ambulance)! Pretty unique! Unique indeed, but I have seen one, so there is at least one surviving example, now owned by a collector in the Colorado Springs area. These were bodied by National Coach Co. in Indiana.

The last car on the right and back is also a 1957 Dodge. You can just see the grille bars, the headlight and the fin shape.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7207 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | WOW, that photo of the Inner Harbour, Victoria, BC is my home town, I was born there, still live there, never moved away. The harbour hasn't changed much since the photo, except there is now a causeway / walk way all the way around the lower area of the harbour at water level. The impressive buildings in the background are the Provincial Legislative buildings designed by an architect by the name of Francis Rattenbury, completed in 1898. If the photo was taken in 1960 ( newest car I can see) I would have been 5 1/2 years old and was probably at home or at school the day the photo was taken. The MV-COHO Ferry ( run by Blackball Transport out of WA State) is still in every day service to and from Victoria, BC and Port Angeles Washington, but now it docks on the far side, further over to the right and out of this picture.. I am not sure why the 6 rows of cars are facing each other.... there seems to be no way out for either sets of rows. And yes, there is a red & whhite 1960 Polara or Matador 2 door hardtop directly in front of the 57 Ford Wagon. Likely a Polara as it has the sky high rear window, optional on Matador. And if the car is Canadian it has to be a Polara, as Matadors weren't built here. But it could possibly be a US car, going back home on the COHO ferry.

PS how is your Polara wagon doing - haven't seen an update recently.
