Veteran Posts: 102 Location: CA | From the information I have gathered, this picture was taken on October 25th, 1957, after the Gambino crime family boss, Albert Anastasia, was murdered in the barber shop of the Park Sheraton Hotel on 56th Street and 7th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. You can clearly see the 57' Plaza parked outside the hotel.... And what about that car in front of it buried in the crowd? Looks like a Dodge. The other two were a red one (reviewed/seen in Motor Life & Hot Rod) and a black one that was sent to the East Coast Field Office (right?)..... | ||
