They must be too old... And with these European photos, surely some from Switzerland would show a nice bit of Forward Look content? The Swiss market for Mopar product was substantial in the fifties, they ran cars at the 24-hour race at Spa in Belgium to showcase them for the Swiss market (as I recall reading in Paul Frere's book...).

Thanks for the update Mark, another great shot with 83 of them but sad none are still around (that stretched 58 Desoto is not quite a limo!!)

Expert Posts: 1316 Location: Belgium, 40 miles south of Brussels | vedette - 2012-01-06 1:41 AM and I recognised these right away as Brussels I'm very interested in these old pictures of Brussels. Would you happen to have them in a higher resolution ? Ray Bell - 2012-01-06 2:13 AM And with these European photos, surely some from Switzerland would show a nice bit of Forward Look content? The Swiss market for Mopar product was substantial in the fifties, they ran cars at the 24-hour race at Spa in Belgium to showcase them for the Swiss market (as I recall reading in Paul Frere's book...). Not sure about the Spa races being a showcase for the swiss market ... Belgium was a big market for american cars in the '40s and '50s. At some point, it was even their biggest market (percentage wise) in all Europe ! Edited by Chrome58 2012-01-06 8:03 AM

Jim, they called the sweeping side moulding the "Lancer" trim when introduced also on the 4-door Custom Royal and Custom Sierras. From beginning they had a straight moulding starting from headlight door going all way to rear quarter.
