Regarding the Red Imperial above ... those Idaho plates have "8B" which means the car was registered in Bonneville County. That style of plate was only available from 1983 on, and was replaced around 1990.

WXYZ is in none-other than The Motor City.

CKLW is its across-river/country competitor, in Windsor.

Nobody's noticed the 1958 DeSoto, on the cover of the "East Brooklyn" book, yet?

Is it not an Adventurer?

With bad photo tinting?

If you look closely, you can make out the trunk 'rub strips' on it, too.

I think I am seeing the triangular insert in the kick up, which would confirm it being an
Adventurer ... one of (not very many) made.

I'll agree with you there Guzzle Gut. The only nudie pics here should be a wheel with the hubcap layin' beside it. I never got to see what was posted, don't know if I would want to see it either,,,,,,,,,,,,. Now if it was posted down yonder, I'd probably go take a gander,,,,,,,

THANKS to those who took the time to send me that nudie pic that was posted here, I didn't get to see.

YES, that picture was clearly NOT porn! Porn is fornication. Just standing there is art.

Sigh,,,,,,, But, I'll still stand by 'my' opnion, that picutre, should have been posted down below ,,,,, as an extention. Posting a picture(s) like that could open to door for pictures that totally shouldn't be posted up here! See what i mean?

I saw it. Its strange why a fully naked women would be wiping the drivers side outside mirror. I showed my wife with confusion why it was in the area. It wasn't a big deal. I moved on afterward.

It would have been a big deal if you were looking at it at work and your boss saw you.

Or if your kid walked into the room when you were looking at it.

Let's get back on track.

That is not a "ferry", per se; those brand-new cars are being loaded for a (partial-) "boat" delivery from the factory.

With regard to the monochrome pic of the parking lot labelled 'cars'... can we perhaps label that as being from Wisconsin in June, 1964?

And in hemidave's Portland airport pic, what on earth are those super-streeeeetchmobiles?

Ray, I think they might be airport limos or hotel limos in my pic.

The body & trim sure fit well on that 58 Dodge; crying shame that it probably didn't survive.

Also, in that "Palo Alto" photo, above, there is a 58 (or 59) T-burd seen, so, that is about when the photo was taken.

What's interesting is that none of the cars look to be very shiny-new-bright, and most of them look like they've
been driven in the Winter time, in the Mid West .

In regard to your request, when we found said monochrome photo of which you speak in residence on the Internet there was no available reference as to what the precise day, location, time, weather or local television schedule was when said photograpic image was taken.Thankfully since you have been so gracious as to offer us this valuable information the very least we can do is heed your humble request and update the photos name to reflect this fact.
