LaFemmes were pink, not blue. The LaFemme badge was on the front fender.

For all curious minds: the LaFemme option package was just that, an option for the Custom Royal two-door hardtop only, in 1955-56. No four-doors, and all were pink.

The photo-car's side trim clearly does not extend up to the bottom of the door handle.

Also, the trim on the Regal's fender is wider than that as seen on the photo-car.

So, the photo-car is a bit of a mystery, as its side trim appears to be wider than that of the Spring-
Special's chrome trim.

Thanks, Brian and Bernie! I couldn't tell from the pic's I've seen what colours the La Femme came in (sometimes they look cream and lilac) but pink makes sense!

Very interesting picture looks probably a Windsor 59 conv + other 59 FL cars, but the picture is unclear. Know that these postcards are small in size. Do you have the opportunity to get the better sharpness?

Thanks, Roger!

So I wasn't seeing things?

I wasn't sure if my computer screen was capable of depicting accurate colours...but I do like the "Orchid" shades.

What's with the jutting eyebrow trim? Was this a feature unique to the the spring specials,or something Chrysler never put into production?

I think you all are seeing things, thanks to the way the body is reflecting the light. Note how the light is reflected off the fender tops on the 1953 Buick Special Riviera ahead of the Dodge. The same trick is occurring on the Dodge wiping out any darker colour that may be there.

And the light is probably playing tricks on the eyebrow trim, what little of it you can see. That and the fact the car is parked with the nose going downhill.

Very similar to my hometown of Davenport, except without the state capitol in the background. The buildings look similar. Posted on or about page 59 or 60 of this thread.

1955 Vintage Filling Station in Atlanta! Although I hardly ever go downtown these days, I've been by this place once, at the corner of Boulevard St. and Edgewood Avenue, just east of downtown. The building housing that old filling station was torn down in 2010.

These are all so cool, where did you guys find these pics?

I like the Georgia pics, I wonder if there are any Tifton ones with Forwardlook cars and if anyone knows any of Jacksonville Fl too unless there is some somewhere in this big long thread.

My uncle in Tifton had what I believe was a white 62 Chrysler back then but i don't have any pics.

A lot of these images are merely pirated from Ebay postcard and/or photograph listings.

This is almost certainly discussed within that mega-thread, on the Regal Lancers, that was moved to the Member's Rides
message board, but the Regals' (and the 58 Dodge Spring Specials') fender-extensions are different from the Windsor/Firesweep
fender extension moldings, in that the latter ones have their eyebrow width carry on down the side of the fender, whereas
the Dodges have those moldings tuck-in, toward the fender, right below the headlight area (thus accentuating the increased
length of the fenders), as seen in the above profile illustration.
