To me it seems like a 1959 Plymouth and I thought it would be a Fury because of the badge on the fin. But the badge appears to be red white and blue, not like the Fury badge, I think.

Anybody any idea?

could be a "customised" Sport Fury badge or maybe a Perkins Diesel badge.

That looks like a Plymouth Belvedere to me. The rear end of the side trim is too wide to be a Fury. The red and blue on the badge must be created by the postcard colorization process. It's probably a normal Belvedere logo.

That looks like a Plymouth Belvedere to me. The rear end of the side trim is too wide to be a Fury. The red and blue on the badge must be created by the postcard colorization process. It's probably a normal Belvedere logo.

Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada		A friend of mine just posted this picture on Facebook, so I saved it . I owned the car ( 1960 Dodge Matador 4 door hardtop) 1980-1981 , the two guys are friends of mine, Stew, on the left and Rob, on the right. They have both lost most of that hair now, but I still have mine! Notice Rob is wearing a Studebaker t-shirt, he owned a 59 Lark at the time.

Rob got married shortly after this photo was taken, and this Matador and my ex- white 1960 Polara 4 door hardtop were both decorated and used in the wedding. It made for quite a show, I drove the bride and groom away in the Polara after the ceremony and they asked to stop at McDonald's for burgers, on the way to the reception, still in the wedding gown and tux!

This photo would have been May or June 1981.
