No one wanted to be seen with you. But 300 Letter Series had always little different position even during the 60's compared with ordinary mopars.. They had a special status just by looking few for sale ads in Car Life and Motor Trend magazines from that decade. Nobody was ever selling Plymouth Savoy, Dodge Coronet or any other just another used car there.. That's why the survivor rate of 300s is greater than most other models. What kind of service history of this particular 300C might had.. The past owners of it should have put on row and teach simple lessons how to keep cars..

Elite Veteran Posts: 716 | These old photos are great. I particularly like that the cars are usually not the subject of the photo and were accidentally preserved for history and for us. This is one of the best threads on the whole internet. And the world wide web also.

Elite Veteran Posts: 802 Location: Norcross (Atlanta area), GA | Valiant_200 - 2012-07-31 4:43 PM The spare on the front tells me it was a rough ride up the mountain. A friend of mine had a green 58 Roadmaster for a while. What a sweet car. Not Mopar, but the fin power cannot be denied. Judging from the ridiculous amounts of chrome trim, I am guessing that is a Roadmonster as well. The Buick in that picture is a Special, not a Roadmaster. Specials were the only models of the 1958 Buick product line that were available in 2-door centerpost sedan form, as this car is, and the Special did not have the series name on the side of the car. Instead, the Special series name was on the trunk lid in both 1957 and 1958, for the entry-level Buick. I already knew that, seeing these cars driving on the streets of my hometown, but it didn't take all that much research to confirm it, as seen in the picture of the restored 4-door hardtop sedan. Might be time to pay someone to look at your computer and check things out. Maybe you are using an outdated browser or something on your machine. There is nothing wrong with Dave's photos, the problems are on your own computer. Glenn. I am having the same issue here at work (but not at home). My theory is that Dave is linking to a photo sharing service, rather than uploading directly. Here at work, photo sharing services (picasa, shutterfly, etc.) are blocked for security reasons. When I click on the link at the bottom of the post, I get this message: Duplicate headers received from serverThe response from the server contained duplicate headers. This problem is generally the result of a misconfigured website or proxy. Only the website or proxy administrator can fix this issue. Error 349 (net::ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_DISPOSITION): Multiple distinct Content-Disposition headers received. This is disallowed to protect against HTTP response splitting attacks.
