I was not aware that Imperials used slotted wheel discs in 1960. Apparently this was to cool off the brakes I assume. They would have been drum brakes in 1960 surely?

Location: bishop, ca		Trying to figure out what may have collided with that IMP; a large truck, carrying pipe/lumber?

The roadway looks dry, so the car probably didn't 'slide/spin' into anything.

Something entered through the windshield, because the force of impact would push any occupants away from the W/S.

The glass is kinda scary looking; not at all like laminated safety glass, what-with all of those straight edged breakage surfaces.
