   Location: cornpatch county, Southwest IOA | Fearless leader ( mild mannered- polite) to Doubletree personell ( full of himself) Time and place: very late in the motel parking garage 5th floor.
" You guys are going to have to clear out of here-I know what it's like, I have a 69 camaro." Fearless walks up to him and with a bit of an intimidating look, says ( as a statement not as a question) " You know what Christine did to a camaro!!..........
I GOT FINS (J.W. Duhn) on introducing himself to a lady who asked who he was. (He)" I am I GOT FINS--J.W. Duhn"--- ( she)" What does the J.W. stand for?"---(he-without missing a beat and in his deadpan way) " Just Wonderfull"
OK-- so it don't take much to entertain me...........Any other Quotes?............................5%............. |

      Location: Blythewood, SC | First thing I said to Neil after sitting in his car to drink his moonshine? "When I first came back to the board, I wanted to kill you."
Nathan to Mike when we were taking my car into the Convention Center "OMG, It's just like Christine!! Shut it off, shut it off!"

| "Hey... Boyd is here! Now there are two 'holes up there on the courthouse lawn!"
- A comment I made to Mike McKenna (My57Saratoga) when Coddington arrived
Don't get me wrong, I'm not morally opposed to Boyd or his peeps... In fact, I'll admit to watching American Hotrod when there's nothing else on the TeeVee. I'll even admit that I sometimes enjoy the look of some of the custom rides produced therein. Still, Boyd comes across as a bit of an arse more often than not.
Meanwhile, I did kinda wish the "Big Name Draw" in Tulsa had been Barry Meguiar or someone a little less extreme.

    Location: Melbourne, Australia | Late at night, when everyone had been on their feet for many many hours but still in good spirits and some were gathered in the upstairs DoubleTree parking lot, a Mopar was backing into its spot;
"Stall 20, Stall 20..........'' Funny stuff. I like quick witted humour!............. Great few days that was meeting lots of new folks from all round the world ! |
