Location: bishop, ca		Go back up and look at photos #2331 and #2335.

There were no provisions for sealing the perimeter of the vault, or the joint seams between the three sections of
its lid.

The three lids just sat on top of the vault; not even tongue-in-groove attachments anywhere on it, to try to keep
out water infiltration; let-alone any 'seam-sealer' mastic.

Not even, above-ground; all that 'they' had to do was to weld-up Miss Belvie inside a steel box---like they did with their
Time Capsule; that's that tubular looking thing they're lowering into the vault, behind the car (as was apparently provided
by "McNamar(a) Boiler & tank Co.").

Location: Auckland, New Zealand.		Great photos! Some there of the lowering ceremony that I have not seen before. Who has the originals? They need to be scanned-these appear to have been photographed with a camera. This stuff needs to be preserved, even if that is too late now for the car itself....
