Wow!

First off, welcome!

Second, nice sedan! Looks like one hell of an original survivor - right down to the 6V electrical system! Also, it's kind of unusual to see a stock V8 in such a plain-jane car - pleasing, but unusual just the same.

Plus, I've never seen that Dodge hood molding without the trim flairing off the sides - kind of naked looking, relatively speaking, but certainly unique. All in all, one hell of a nice export!

Thank you!
Im in need of some parts for it. For example, carpet, firewall insulation + rubber "grommets", some electrical and interior parts. And fabric. Maybe you can recommend sources? (besides Ebay) Also im planning to convert to power steering in the future.

Nice community here!

Nice looking ride you got there.Do you know what year they stopped assembling US cars in Sweden?
That Volvo 444 in the background on one of the pic´s looks to be in good shape too.

Good looking car ,very clean!!! Welcome aboard you will find that the people here are very friendly. Not like some classic car sites. Where the other members don't like to help others complete or offer help with their cars.

Thanks!
I don´t now when but i have planned to investigate the subject. You probably know that Plymouth, Dodge, and DeSotos where assembled in different factorys by different importers. It was a report in the subject in a Swedish carmagasine some months ago. Think it was Classic Motor.

Adding 2 pictures of my 444KS -56.

Hope this is ok.

Nice cars! And that Volvo 444 can qualify as an honorary 'Merican car, the B series engines up thru 1975 (B-20) were originally Willys designs! Roger in NY (driving big Mopars since 1965 and Volvo since 1970!!).

Hi Thomas!
You have nice looking cars. In Finland I´ve seen maybe one or two 55 Kingsways. In Västerås seen also some.
I have Volvo, too. That´s Amazon.

Very clean looking cars, indeed! My recent found was a '55 Dodge Kingsway export sales catalog. What coincidence here is about old Volvos? I have also one, a '69 Volvo 121 Amazon. It looks like 3/4 scale '50 Merc or '54 Shivvy and in same time gussied-up with Italian design.
