Expert Posts: 4133 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Connecticut | Actually, Dwight wasn't particularly talkative. He left me alone for most of the hour that I was there (probably a good thing). Then he came out, engaged me in 'small talk', ie, how I knew about the car, if I went to Tulsa last year, etc. Then an AP photographer showed up and he nicely asked me to leave. He's not exactly the 'warm and friendly' type.

Buckeye, Arizona | Thanks for posting the update, Ron! ![]() Geez - you'd think they'd set up some sort of staging area/buffer zone instead of laying all that crap all over the car like that, considering the car's present fragility and all.

I assume there are only small differences in wheel base. Nice pictures.

Not 100% sure on that) shared the same 118" wheelbase. Even the Fury. Only difference may be in bracing for the hardtop body to make up for the (marginal) loss of rigidity vs. the sedan.

New User Posts: 1 | Its nice to see the pics of miss Belvedere, Glad to see the pics after such a long time with no news. Having seen the pics of the vehicle at Ultra One is it possible (and this is just a thought) they are only cleaning off one half of the vehicle as a sort of before and after using the rust remover product. Just a thought as it has gone from (in my opinion) a amazing peice of history, to a bit of a money spinner. Having watched the proceedings over the internet in the middle of the night here in the UK a year ago, I have to agree with most of you guys in the forum that it should be somewhere on display for people to see it rather than be taken apart and frames changed etc. Thanks for the great pics ronbo97 Cant help but wonder how the Plymouth Prowler is doing!

That was actually one of my suggestions, when it appeared that '57 Heaven Museum might/would end up with the car; put it in a diorama exhibit, and only clean off half the car.
